What image is Burberry trying to portray by being a music enthusiast? How is music helping Burberry raise its value?

Burberry started Burberry acoustic to help upcoming and establishes singers gain popularity by collaboration. Often at Burberry events, singers come and sing the acoustic version of their songs to please the crowd. The songs sung are mostly soft and soothing which reflect the luxurious nature of the brand.

In the capitalistic society today, consumers are inclined towards sensorial experiences. Brands try to involve their consumers in sensorial experiences to sell their products. Burberry dwells well on the sensorial experiences, for it has clothes, people can wear (touch and feel), fragrances that people can smell, beauty products that people can feel and its acoustic music that people can hear.

Music has this tendency of leaving a mark on the human's brain. If music is played while viewing a garment, there is always a possibility that the garment will leave its mark too and might attract the consumer towards it.
