The above image is a word cloud based on Design. It's a visual essay on what design is. Like art and everything else, Design is very subjective and hard to define. Certain things that can be definitely said for design is that
1) It is supposed to solve problems.
2) It is supposed to be user-centric and empathetic.
3) It is supposed to be simple instead of complex.
In the essay above there are several words that are different genres that help in design, different elements of design and words related with design. In the following articles I would like to elaborate more on these words related to design. I hope by the end of it, all of us come to some conclusion about what design is and what tools are used for it.
