According to her, the public image of an actor depends on the kind of movies he/she does. If they do a geeky role, they stay geeky until they do another role in some other movie. She stated this in her interview with Times of India that she is okay with look de-glam or geeky till she gets another film.

Beauty pageants help in the industry, as according to her she has been treated with respect due to her pageant.
